The Village Council hereby confirms the transfer of all authority, powers and duties provided for zoning commissions under the State Zoning Enabling Act, being Public Act 110 of 2006, M.C.L.A. §§ 125.3101 et seq. to the Village Planning Commission. The Planning Commission shall be responsible for formulation of the zoning regulations and amendments thereto, and reporting its findings and recommendations concerning the zoning regulations or proposed amendments to the Village Council. The Planning Commission shall also be responsible for holding hearings, reviewing and making determinations regarding applications for approval as required the zoning regulations.
