Architectural features may encroach into required yards as follows:
(A) Cornices, eaves, sills, fireplaces, flues, ornamental features and other similar features may extend or project into a required yard a distance of not more than 24 inches;
(B) Uncovered and unenclosed ground story decks, patios, or terrace less than 30 inches above grade may project into a required yard a maximum of 50% of the required front, rear, or side yard;
(C) Covered or enclosed porches that extend from the ground floor level of a residential structure may project into a required front yard setback a maximum of six feet; and
(D) No permitted projection shall be allowed to encroach into a public right-of-way except for approved awnings and signs.
