(A) The Village of Calumet Park shall be comprised of the following rank of police officers: Chief of Police; sergeants; and patrol officers.
(B) The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the Board of Trustees.
(C) The number of sergeants shall not exceed four and the duties of sergeants shall be supervisory.
(D) The number of patrol officers shall not exceed ten.
(E) This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
