§ 33.29  ASSISTANT CHIEF OF POLICE.
   (A)   The Assistant to the Chief of Police may be responsible for payroll, maintenance of police records, scheduling and assignments and any and all other assignments given by the Chief of Police. The Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police may report to the Chief of Police.
   (B)   The Assistant Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Mayor and under the terms as the Mayor and Board of Trustees determine and are permitted by law.
