It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation or association knowingly to exhibit, sell, offer to sell, give away, circulate, obscene or distribute or attempt to distribute to any person under the publications age of 18 years, any obscene book, magazine, pamphlet, paper, writing, card, advertisement, circular, print, picture, photograph, motion picture film, play, image, instrument, statute, drawing or other material.
OBSCENE for the purpose of this section is defined as follows: whether to the average person under 18 years , of the age of the person to whom the material is exhibited, sold, offered for sale, given away, circulated or distributed, applying contemporary community standards, the dominant theme of the material taken as a whole appeals to prurient interests.
