(A) Only alarm systems which are equivalent to or exceed the minimum applicable UL standards: UL 609 "Local Burglar Alarm Units and Systems"; UL 636 "hold-Up Alarm Units and Systems"; UL 681 "Installation and Classification of Mercantile and Bank Burglar Alarm Systems"; and UL Standard 1023 "Household Burglar Alarm System Units"; shall be authorized.
(B) The equipment and/or hardware used and the manner of installation of alarm systems shall correspond to the applicable standards contained in the UL requirements for each of the foregoing alarm systems.
