§ 36.07 COLLECTION.
   (A)   For the purpose of collecting taxes and penalties, the Council may enforce payment against the property of defaulters to the same extent and substantially in the same manner, as is provided by law for the collection of state and county taxes and penalties, except that executions to enforce the payment of taxes and penalties shall be issued under the seal of the corporation by the Clerk/Treasurer thereof and directed to the Chief of Police or any other officer designated by the Council for that purpose or by contract with the county.
   (B)   The Chief of Police, Clerk/Treasurer and other properly designated officers are invested with all the rights, powers and privileges, and they are charged with all the duties of the officers designated for the collection of taxes.
