It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police or someone designated by him or her to be in constant attendance on the Municipal Court and to take proper measures for carrying into effect the orders of the Court, and to execute all processes issued by the Court. The Chief of Police and police officers shall exercise the duties prescribed by S.C. Code § 14-25-55 and shall also be invested with the same powers and duties as are provided for magistrates’ constables.
