(A) No license to operate a taxicab shall be granted to any person other than the bona fide owner of the vehicle and the certificate of title must be exhibited to the Town Clerk/Treasurer before a license can be issued, and every taxicab business under the provision of this law shall be carried on by the person to whom the license is issued, and by the person in whose name the contract of insurance required is written.
(B) No license to operate a taxicab shall be transferable or assignable.
(C) No license shall be issued to any person other than for the full-time operation of a taxicab business.
