This permit must be applied for by any group or organization at least ten hours prior to the anticipated holding of any parade, gathering, assembly, demonstration and funeral procession. For the application, a written permit must be filed with the Chief of Police, setting out the name of the organization applying for the permit, its state of origin, its purpose, the name of the person or persons who will be in charge and any other pertinent information that might be required of the applicant in order to protect the public welfare of the town.
