§ 90.01 CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
   It is unlawful for any person to inflict unnecessary cruelty upon any animal, or to ride, drive or work it when sick or unfit for work; to override, overwork, overload or ride it when overworked; to torture, torment or to beat or cruelly whip any animal; and it is unlawful for any person owning or having charge of any animal to fail to provide it with proper food, drink, shelter or protection from the weather.
