242.05 RETIREMENT AGE.
   (a)   The mandatory retirement age for all police officers or the Chief of Police shall be sixty and the employment of the Chief of Police or each police officer shall be terminated not later than the last day of the month in which the Chief's or police officer's sixtieth birthday anniversary occurs.
   (b)   Council may extend the retirement age of any police officer or the Chief of Police for such term as it deems to be in the best interest of the Municipality.
