242.02 PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS REQUIRED.
   Each year, not more than thirty days after their birthday anniversary, each police officer shall be examined by a legally qualified physician acceptable to Council. A report shall be submitted to the Clerk within two weeks of the date of said examination. The Clerk shall submit the report so obtained at the next regular meeting of Council. If said officer is unable to perform the duties of his or her position, after examination of the report, his or her position shall be terminated. The effective date of such termination shall be sixty days from the date of the finding of the Council. The examination shall be paid for by the Village.
   Should a police officer have a know physical condition that is not revealed by the officer to the Village officials and it should cause an accident, etc., that may harm another person, the Village will not be held responsible.
