(a) The position of Street Commissioner is hereby established with the job description and duties to be set up and instituted by the Mayor.

(b) The compensation for said position shall be determined from time to time by Council and shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the General Fund.
(Adopting Ordinance)
(c) Said Street Commissioner shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent and approval of Council. In case of the vacancy in said office, the Mayor shall recommend a successor to Council who shall take office upon approval of such recommendation by Council.
(d) Said Street Commissioner may be removed from office at the pleasure of the Mayor.
