440.12 ENGINE COMPRESSION BRAKES.

(a) No person shall, while operating any commercial vehicle within the Village limits, use engine compression brakes or engine retarders or any similar equipment.

(b) Violation of this section shall constitute a minor misdemeanor. Each application of engine compression brakes or engine retarders or similar braking equipment within the Village limits may constitute a separate offense.
