1408.07 CONDEMNATION OF BUILDINGS.
If the Village Building Inspection Board deems that there is immediate danger of injury to persons in a public place next to or near such building, then the Board may immediately condemn such building and have it marked by a large sign saying “Condemned.” The Board may rope off or barricade such building so as to keep the public away from the danger.
No person, other than a duly authorized officer of the Board, may remove such sign or barricade until the condition of the building is remedied. When such building is so barricaded, no person other than the owner, persons authorized by the owner to enter thereon in order to remedy the condition complained of, or the Village Building Inspector, shall enter such building or go beyond the barricade.
