1060.02 HAULER'S LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE.
   (a)   No person shall engage in the business of hauling rubbish and/or refuse and garbage within the corporate limits of the Municipality unless he or she has first obtained a license therefor from Council. (Ord. 78-9. Passed 10-3-78.)
   (b)   Council shall collect a fee as set forth in Chapter 206 of the Administration Code - the General Fee Schedule - for each license issued for one year under the provisions of subsection (a) hereof. The hauler shall give a notice thirty days before the end of a license period, in writing, to the Clerk, stating his or her desire to continue or terminate the license. When desiring to continue the license, any changes desired shall be stated at the time of this notice. (Adopting Ordinance)
   (c)   In lieu of payment of the license fee set forth in subsection (b) hereof, each hauler licensed hereunder may furnish the Municipality for a one-year period with a six-cubic yard steel container free of charge in which the Municipality may place street scrapings or other trash, and this container shall be placed wherever so directed by the Municipality and shall be emptied by the hauler as often as is necessary, or may collect regularly all trash from the Municipal trash cans, for a one-year period.
