(1) Wherever on any public property or street, the curb is painted, the parking surface has stripes, or an appropriate sign has been erected, by or under the direction of the city, the marking or sign shall indicate that it is a no parking zone, and it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle adjacent to the curb(s) or on the pavement marking.
(2) It is unlawful for any person to park a vehicle, or, having parked the same, to suffer it to remain parked in violation of the regulations of any duly installed parking sign or markings.
