Prior to entering upon the duties of the position, the CABC shall take the oath prescribed in Section 228 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth, and he or she shall execute a bond with a good corporate surety in the penal sum of not less than $1,000. Any city employee under the supervision of the CABC shall execute a similar bond in such penal sum as the CABC may deem necessary.
