On the first Monday of every month, the city shall collect solid waste that is too bulky to be stored in the containers supplied by the city or the city’s franchisee. Bulky solid waste to be collected by the city pursuant to this section shall not be placed next to the street more than three days prior to the date of collection. The city shall not be obligated to collect bulky solid waste pursuant to this section that is dangerous to the health or safety of city personnel, unreasonably bulky, or excessive in amount. No person shall place more than six items of bulky solid waste next to the street to be collected by the city. No person shall place any airtight container for collection without first removing all doors from the containers.
