905.07 SIDEWALK STANDARDS.
   (a)    All sidewalks outside business portions of the Village shall be constructed next to the property line and shall be of the following widths:
      (1)   Those on streets with a public right-of-way fifty (50) feet or more in width shall be five (5) feet wide and there shall be a lawn strip between the sidewalk and the curb of the street.
      (2)   However, on all streets and alleys where sidewalks have heretofore been constructed and such sidewalks are to be reconstructed or extended, such reconstruction or extensions shall be of the same width as the the existing sidewalk.
      (3)   Remaining walks will have a minimum width of four feet. Concrete walks shall be not less than four inches in thickness.
   (b)    In the repairing of sidewalks, no patching will be allowed except at the discretion of the Street Superintendent. Temporary repairs may be made with asphalt, or a temporary asphaltic concrete walk may be placed where a tree, due to its growth, would irreparably damage a concrete walk. All sidewalks over subspaces shall be of reinforced concrete construction or reconstruction only, the plans for which must be approved by the Street Superintendent.
