(a) No person shall fail to comply immediately with any lawful order or direction of any police officer with regards to situations that reasonably appear to such officer to be developing that threaten to endanger the public peace, and/or the health, safety and welfare of other persons or property.
(b) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
