(a) All water that passes through a meter, whether residential meter or commercial meter, shall be charged for whether said water is used, wasted or lost. No relief shall be granted due to service line break or any other leak issue relating to the customer’s account. However, said payment for said water services can be spread out over a six month period.
(b) As it relates to the sewer charge for said excess water usage, pursuant to the verification by the Village Administrator, said portion of the sewer bill attributed to the lost or excess water can be forgiven or discounted as long as it is proven to the satisfaction of the Village Administrator that said water did not go into the sewer system.
