1309.05 NOTICE OF VIOLATION.

   (a)   In the event of a violation of this section written notice shall be served on the owner, lessee, agent, mortgage holder, tenant and/or other person having charge of the premises upon which the vegetation, vegetation waste, tree, shrub, or plant exists and litter conditions exist shall be effectuated by any of the following:

      (1)   Personal service;

      (2)   Certified Mail;

      (3)   Posting of the notice on the land and/or building in the event that personal service is unsuccessful and that height of the grass, weeds, brush and/or litter and condition of the property is in violation of Section 1309.01(a), Section 1309.01(b), and/or Section 1309.01(c).

      (4)   The notice shall contain the date of service, the address of the real property on which such weeds, high grass, brush and/or litter exists it shall advise the date that removal of the weeds, high grass, brush and/or litter is to be completed without being subject to the penalty in Section 1309.99.
