(a) The Mayor and Chief of Police hereby are authorized and directed to accept such cash, vehicles and other property of whatsoever kind from the Common Pleas Court of the State of Ohio in accordance with the Contraband Seizure Forfeiture Act as are provided by law.
(b) Acceptance of real estate by the Village, pursuant to the provisions of such Contraband Seizure Forfeiture Act shall be upon the advice and consent of Council.
(c) Any cash received by the Village pursuant to the provisions of the Contraband Seizure Forfeiture Act shall be deposited in the Law Enforcement Trust Fund of the Village, to be used for law enforcement purposes as provided by law.
(d) All other property, including vehicles, shall be marked or tagged for identification as being used solely for law enforcement purposes as provided by law or sold as provided by law and the proceeds of sale deposited to the Law Enforcement Trust Fund of the Village, to be used for law enforcement purposes as provided by law.
