For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY STREETS. A public thoroughfare, roadway or alley used for motor vehicle travel which is not an interstate, trunk, county-state aid, or county highway.
PUBLIC ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY. The entire right-of-way of a public road, including the traveled portions, banks, ditches, shoulders, median and boulevard of a road that is not privately owned.
ROADWAY. That portion of a highway or street improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel.
SNOWMOBILE. A self-propelled vehicle designed for use on snow or ice steered by skis or runners.
