(A) No person shall sell, buy, barter or offer to sell, buy, barter for any goods, wares or merchandise or otherwise engage in any type of business or sales transaction on any public sidewalk, street or right-of-way within the city, including but not limited to the sale or barter of the following goods:
(1) Motor vehicles;
(2) Boats; and
(3) Trailers.
(B) This section shall not apply when the activities prohibited in this chapter are expressly permitted in a defined area for a specified period of time by resolution of the City Council.
