551.05  VILLAGE MAY TRIM; UNPAID CHARGES A LIEN.
   If the owner or his agent neglects or refuses to trim or keep trimmed the branches of trees as provided in Section 551.04, the Village may, after ten days written notice to the owner or occupant of such abutting property, cause such trees to be trimmed and charged the expense thereof to the owner.  If the charges are not paid, the charges shall be certified to the County Auditor and shall be a lien upon the property and be collected as provided in the case of special assessments.  The notice herein provided for may be served by registered letter, addressed to the owner or occupant of such premises, by mailing it to the last known place of residence of the owner or occupant.
