353.09  VIOLATIONS; REPORTS; NOTICE.
   It shall be the duty of police officers, or others designated by the Mayor and sworn in as special officers, under the direction of the Mayor, to keep account of all violations of this chapter.  Such officers shall keep an account of and report the number of each parking meter which indicates that the vehicle occupying the parking space adjacent to such parking meter is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the date and hour of such violation, the make and the State license number of such vehicle, and any other facts which are necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation.  They shall also attach to such vehicle a notice stating that it has been parked in violation of this chapter, and instructing the owner or operator to report to the police officer on duty or the Mayor of the Village in regard to such violation.  (Ord. 599.  Passed 3-4-54.)
