301.101 DYNAMIC BRAKING DEVICE.
   “Dynamic braking device” means a device used primarily on trucks for the conversion of the engine from an internal combustion engine to an air compressor for the purpose of braking without the use of wheel brakes, or a device that operates from oil pressure to slow the engine, or a mechanical breaking device which uses the engine to rapidly decelerate the vehicle, commonly referred to as “Jacob’s Brake” or “Jake Brake”.
