The Park Commission shall be authorized and empowered to receive and accept any and all gifts, testamentary bequests, charitable contributions or funds from any other nonpublic source, including revenues from vending machines, in the same manner and to the same extent as the Village can lawfully receive and accept them, and any moneys so received by the Commission shall be deposited in the Treasury of the Village and credited to the Park Fund as established by Section 147.04, and shall be used for the purposes of landscaping, flowers, tree trimming, planting and vegetation, trees, bushes, shrubbery and related items of landscaping.
