The Fire Department is hereby authorized to expend the cumulative total of two hundred dollars ($200.00) from the Fire Department Fund during each calendar month without being required to obtain prior approval from Council for such expenditures. The Fire Department shall authorize expenditures by resolution duly entered upon its minutes, and a requisition signed by the Chief presented for payment of such indebtedness to the Fiscal Officer for payment in the same manner as other lawful obligations of the Village. The Fire Department shall be required to submit in writing a requisition signed by the Chief to Council for prior approval before incurring obligations against the Fire Department Fund in excess of the cumulative total of two hundred dollars ($200.00) during any single calendar month. Upon obtaining such prior approval from Council, the Fire Department shall proceed as provided by this section.
