(A) It shall be unlawful to fire or discharge any rifle, gun, pistol, pellet gun, air gun, air pistol, or air rifle within the town, whether on or off private property, in sport or amusement.
(B) Any person who shall knowingly and willfully permit his or her minor child under 18 years of age to discharge, fire, shoot, or operate, within the corporate limits of the town, any such air rifle, BB gun, or pellet gun, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
(C) The Town Council hereby adopts the ordinances attached thereto as Exhibit A effective November 1, 2007 in the entire incorporated area known as the Town of Butner; provided, however, that this section shall not apply in that portion of the town not subject to the municipal ordinance of the town on October 31, 2007
