ORDINANCE NO. 1083

ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1986 S-5 SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BUTLER, INDIANA

   WHEREAS, the City of Butler from time to time enacts ordinances; and

   WHEREAS, the City of Butler has hired a company to prepare supplements to the City Code which embody said ordinances as passed from time to time; and

   WHEREAS, said ordinances are, in fact, adopted as law by the Butler City Council prior to being a supplement and inserted in the City Code Book.

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Butler, Indiana, that:

      l. The 1986 S-5 Supplement to the Butler, Indiana Code of Ordinances consists of a recodification of Ordinances 1067, 1068, 1069, 1071, 1072, 1076, 1077, 1078, 1080, and 1081 already passed and approved by the Common Council of the City of Butler. Therefore, no additional approval is necessary to validate these ordinances.

      2. The 1986 S-5 Supplement to the Butler, Indiana Code of Ordinances also consists of changes made to Title XV Land Usage in order to update these titles in accordance with changes to Laws of the State of Indiana, and that therefore:

         Title XV Land Usage be and the same is hereby amended by changing the words "Administrative Building Council" in §§ 152.10, 152.11, 152.31, 152.34, 152.52, and 152.23 to read "Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission."

      3. That the 1986 S-5 Supplement to the City of Butler's Code of Ordinances as reviewed and approved by the City Attorney and the City Council is hereby adopted.

      PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Butler, Indiana, this 17th day of February, 1986.
