541.09 MALICIOUSLY SETTING FIRE TO WOODS OR FIELDS.
   (a)   No person shall maliciously or negligently set fire to woods, fields or grounds which are not his property, or maliciously permit fire to pass from his fields or grounds to the injury or destruction of the property of any other person.

   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
