Tapping of Village trees for the purpose of maple syrup production may be done by the Burton Chamber of Commerce and its assignees. Tapping shall be conducted with due regard for the viability and health of the tree and in accordance with current conservative tapping guidelines. Collection of sap shall be done with due regard for the health and viability of the tree roots growing in the soil.
