(a) Whoever violates any provision or fails to conform with any of the requirements of the National Electrical Code herein adopted, or fails to comply with any order made thereunder, or violates any detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted and approved thereunder, shall severally for each and every such violation and noncompliance, respectively, be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) or imprisoned not more than three months, or both. Each day during which any condition in violation of the National Electrical Code continues may be considered a separate offense.
(b) The application of the penalty provided in subsection (a) hereof shall not be deemed to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions.
