SECTION 4.4.  ORGANIZATION OF THE COUNCIL.
   The Council shall meet and organize on the second Monday following each regular city election.  At such meeting, or within one week thereafter, the Council shall elect from its membership a Council President and do such other acts as may be required for its organization and the conduct of its business.
   The Council may provide for the interim order of the succession of its members to the office of Council President and for the prompt reconstitution of the Council in the event that its membership is reduced.
