SCHEDULE I. NO PARKING.
   (A)   (1)   Purpose. The purpose of this division (A) is to prohibit the parking of motor vehicles on Jeddo Road between the shore of Lake Huron and M-25 between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to preserve the peaceful enjoyment of the community, and for the health, welfare and safety of the township residents.
      (2)   Parking prohibited.
         (a)   Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., no person shall park a vehicle within the public right-of-way, including boulevards, on Jeddo Road, between the shore of Lake Huron and M-25.
         (b)   In any proceeding for the violation of the parking provisions of this division (A), the registration plate displayed on the motor vehicle unlawfully parked shall constitute in evidence a prima facie presumption that the owner of the vehicle was the person who parked or placed the vehicle at the point where the violation occurred.
         (c)   Any motor vehicle parked in violation of this division (A) may be removed at the expense of the owner or operator of the motor vehicle, and the expense shall constitute a lien upon the motor vehicle, which the township may foreclose in a manner as is provided by Public Act 174 of 1962, as amended.
         (d)   The removal of the motor vehicle under division (A)(2)(c) above shall not preclude or affect the ability of the township to prosecute for violation of this division (A).
      (3)   Enforcement. This division (A) shall be enforced by duly authorized law enforcement officers of the county and the state.
      (4)   Penalty. Any person violating or failing to comply with the conditions of this division (A) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by fines not exceeding $500, nor more than 90-days’ imprisonment in the county jail, or both fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
   (B)   (1)   No person shall park or cause to be parked any motor vehicle, as defined in the State Motor Vehicle Code, M.C.L.A. §§ 600.101 et seq., within the right-of-way of Lakeshore Road north from the point of intersection of the north right-of-way line of Jeddo Road and the right-of-way lines of Lakeshore Road for a distance of 400 feet.
      (2)   No person shall park or cause to be parked any motor vehicle, as defined in the State Motor Vehicle Code, M.C.L.A. §§ 600.101 et seq., within the right-of-way of Lakeshore Road south from the point of intersection of the south right-of-way line of Jeddo Road and the right-of-way lines of Lakeshore Road for a distance of 400 feet.
      (3)   Any person who shall violate this division shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished by a fine not to exceed $100. In the absence of an offense committed in the presence of a police officer, it shall be conclusively presumed that the owner of any motor vehicle as shown by certified copy of the records of the Secretary of State, or the keeper of motor vehicle license records in another state, is the person who parked the vehicle in violation of this division (B).
