For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOARD. The Township Board.
BONDS. The issues of county bonds issued or to be issued referred to in the preamble of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived.
CONTRACTUAL PAYMENTS. The installment payments required to be made by the township to the Board of Public Works of the county.
PREMISES. A parcel of land or structure having any connection to the township water supply system.
SYSTEM. The water distribution system.
TOWNSHIP. The Township of Burtchville, St. Clair County, Michigan.
TOWNSHIP BOARD. The Township Board of Burtchville, Michigan.
USER or USERS. Any premise or premises connecting, or connected with, and using any of the facilities of the water distribution system for the supply of water.
WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. The water distribution facilities acquired and constructed pursuant to the provisions of contracts with the county and any extensions, improvements or additions thereto; and any additional facilities whether owned and/or operated by the township or the county within the limits of the township used or useful in the distribution of water to residents of the township.
