All structures used for human habitation or commercial use must be connected to a sewage disposal system approved by the Zoning Commission. Minimum requirements include water tight septic tank connected to a drain field, drain field to be not closer than 80 feet to the shoreline of lakes and rivers, and no drain area to be deeper than five feet. If a public sewer is available within 100 feet, all such structures must be connected.
