(A) The city reserves authority to fix special temporary load limits upon streets, avenues, alleys, and public rights-of-way within the city whenever good cause appears therefor.
(B) Upon the posting of such special load limits, it shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle, or combination of motor vehicles, to travel upon said streets, avenues, alleys, or public rights-of-way in excess of the load limits posted.
