Whenever any building drain is too low to permit gravity flow to the municipal sewer, sewage carried by such drain shall be lifted by artificial means and discharged into the sewer. Any lift stations placed in private property will be paid for by land owners. Any lift station approved by the City Council and placed in the city main will be paid for by the city.
