Any person or business that is wanting to extend the city’s electrical system must adhere to the following guidelines.
(A) The city will pay 100% of all costs associated with extending the electrical system overhead from the existing electrical pole to the meter of the home or business.
(B) If the home owner or business owner wants the electrical system extended from existing pole to the meter by going underground, the home owner or business owner will pay the difference between the cost of extending the electrical system overhead versus going underground from existing pole to the meter.
(C) The cost of extending the electrical system from the meter to the home or business will be 100% the responsibility of the home owner or business owner.
