Transported homes on single lots may be permitted after a hearing for use on review if they meet the following requirements (adjoining property owners will be notified prior to hearing).
(A) The City Council reserves the right to inspect or see photographs of the transported home to be placed on a single lot to ensure the condition.
(B) The transported home shall be on a lot which meets the minimum size requirements of the district in which the lot is located. All setbacks and yard requirements shall be met. Only one transported home shall be allowed per lot.
(C) All transported homes shall meet local, state, and federal building codes concerning their construction.
(D) All transported homes shall be connected to all utilities prior to occupancy.
(E) The transported home shall be provided with skirting from the bottom of the walls to the ground within 30 days of move on. This skirting must be constructed of fire-retardant material.
(F) The transported home shall be supported on a concrete foundation; concrete, masonry, or wood basement; concrete piers; masonry blocks, or other durable material comparable to the exterior of the home.
(G) The transported home must be at least 20 feet wide.
(H) The transported home must have factory installed wood, hardboard, or siding with a wood appearance.
(I) The transported home must have a factory-installed, peaked, non-reflective roof.
