§ 31.03 CHIEF OF POLICE.
   The Chief of Police shall have the general supervision of all the members of the police force and shall see that the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state are enforced within the city. His or her duties shall include all those which are ordinarily undertaken by a Chief of Police, and all those provided by this subchapter and the laws of the state. He or she shall receive a salary set by the City Council.
