The authority of the Chief of Police and other police officers of the city shall extend to and cover the property described as a public park in § 91.03 below, and the said police officers shall have the same jurisdiction to enforce the ordinances of the city within the said park, or within one mile of the outer boundary of said park, for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the community, and of enforcing the ordinances and resolutions of the city relating thereto.
