1-10-1 ORGANIZATION.
   (A)   The Board of Zoning Appeals for the Town of Bunker Hill, Indiana is hereby established in accordance with I.C. 36-7-4-901, 36-7-4-902 and 36-7-4-203 of the state and all acts now or hereafter amendatory thereto.
   (B)   The Board of Zoning Appeals shall consist of five members as follows:
      (1)   Three citizen members appointed by the executive (President) of the Town Council, of whom one must be a member of the Plan Commission, and two must not be a member of the Plan Commission.
      (2)   One citizen member appointed by the fiscal body (Town Council), who must not be a member of the Plan Commission.
      (3)   One citizen member appointed by the Advisory Plan Commission who must be a member of the Plan Commission.
   (C)   The Board shall meet at regular scheduled monthly meeting or at the call of the Chairperson.
   (D)   All meetings shall be open to the public, except those that are exempt by state law.
   (E)   At the first meeting of the calendar year, the Board shall elect from its members a Chairperson and a Vice Chairperson. The Board of Zoning Appeals may appoint a secretary and such employees as are necessary for the discharge of its duties.
