§ 31.02 TOWN MARSHAL.
   The Town Marshal is selected by the Town Council and is charged with executing the orders of the Town Council and enforcing the laws of the town and state and has the power and duty to serve all process directed to the Marshal by the Town Council or town court. The Marshal serves at the pleasure of the Council but may not be dismissed or suspended from the force without a hearing if the officer has served six months after completion of the state training requirements. He or she is also serving as Sergeant-at-Arms and is tasked with preserving public safety and order during all Council meetings.
