For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AIRGUN. Any weapon or instrument discharging a pellet or other projectile by which the propelling force is a spring, air, gasses or vapors compressed by mechanical power, including, without limitation, air rifles, air pistols, pellet guns and BB guns.
DEADLY WEAPON. Any other instrument or device that could be used in an attack upon a person capable of causing death or serious injury.
FIREARM. Any weapon capable of, or designed to, or that may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by means of an explosion.
